How To Make Sausage Bean Stew

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 (15 oz) cans Great Northern beans, drained
- 2 (10 oz) cans fire roasted Rotel
- 1 potato, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Brown the sausage in the Instant Pot on the sauté setting with 1 chopped onion.
- Once the sausage is browned, add 2 cans of Great Northern beans (drained), 2 cans of fire roasted Rotel (not drained), 1 peeled and chopped potato, 1/2 c chopped celery, 1 c diced carrots, 1/2 tsp dried basil, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp of black pepper, and 2 cups of water to the sausage in the Instant Pot. Stir well.
- Pressure cook for 12 minutes on high pressure.
- When done, quick release the pressure and serve with grilled cheese, fresh bread, or cornbread.
