My favorite part of the holiday season has always been baking. I remember my mom always going overboard to make baked goods for friends and neighbors every Christmas when I was a kid. Helping her in the kitchen as the smell of sweet treats permeated the house is my favorite core memory. Now that I’m a mom making memories for my own family, I love getting in the kitchen with my little and making Christmas cookie boxes for coworkers, neighbors, family, and friends.
