How To Make Stuffed Peppers With Ground Turkey

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil.
  2. Add 1/2 cup dried white rice. Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, approximately 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.

3. Wash 6 large bell peppers. Cut in half. Remove stem and seeds.

4. Cook bell pepper halves in boiling water on high heat in a large stock pot for 5 minutes.

5. Remove bell peppers from heat. Drain and set aside.

6. Brown ground turkey with 1 medium onion (chopped) in a skillet over medium heat. Drain grease off turkey once browned.

7. Combine browned turkey with cooked rice, 1 cup of ketchup, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of pepper in large bowl. Stuff the turkey and rice mixture in the pepper halves. Place peppers on a baking sheet.

8. Bake peppers at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

9. Serve.
