Soda Stream Blackberry Serrano Sparkling Water Recipe

If you’re a little sweet and a little spicy, this Soda Stream Blackberry Serrano Sparkling Water recipe is for you! With the perfect balance of sweet, juicy blackberries and the subtle heat in the back from a fresh serrano pepper, this drink adds a delightful kick to your Soda Stream creations. Not only is it an easy and fun way to elevate your hydration game, but it’s also a great way to impress guests with a homemade sparkling drink that’s as vibrant as it is delicious.

Make A Simple Syrup

  1. Add 1 cup of cane sugar, 1 cup of water, 1 1/2 cups of blackberries, and 1 sliced serrano pepper to a pot. Bring to a boil on high heat.

2. Once your pot reaches a boil, bring the heat down to low, add a lid to your pot, and simmer for 20 minutes.

3. Strain your simple syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass mason jar. I use this funnel with a mesh strainer.

4. Allow your simple syrup to cool.

Making The Sparkling Water

5. Fill a quart sized soda stream bottle with water and carbonate for 10 seconds using your Soda Stream.

6. Add 3-4 Tablespoons of your blackberry serrano simple syrup to your Soda Stream bottle. Refrigerate and serve chilled.

7. Keep your simple syrup in the fridge and use within 2 weeks. You can freeze the simple syrup in a wide mouth glass mason jar if needed, but you must use a wide mouth mason jar and leave room at the top for expansion to prevent the glass from breaking in your freezer.
