There are few things more Southern than Moon Pies and banana puddin’, and today I’m bringing you the ultimate mash up of the two! This Moon Pie Banana Pudding is so delicious and such a fun twist on a classic Southern dessert. This recipe is a perfect easy dessert for summer BBQs, potlucks, or as a sweet treat any day of the week.

How To Make Moon Pie Banana Pudding

  1. Make a 5.1 oz family size package of vanilla instant pudding according to the package directions. Let cool.
  2. After your pudding has cooled, delicately fold 8 oz of Cool Whip into your pudding using a rubber spatula. Set aside.

3. Chop up 8 single decker banana flavored Moon Pies. Layer your chopped Moon Pies in the bottom of a 9×13 casserole dish.

4. Slice 4-5 large bananas. Layer your banana slices on top of your Moon Pies in the casserole dish.

5. Spread your pudding mix over your bananas in the casserole dish.

6. Refrigerate your banana pudding and serve chilled.
